The Birth of Big Red

Hola - Jon here, the founder of Hardcore Harry. The story begins back in January 2020, when the world around us took an unprecedented turn. From global upheavals and personal anxieties, to the joyous arrival of my daughter, Lily, my life's trajectory was transformed.

A simple event – running out of hot sauce – sparked a question: "How hard could it be to make hot sauce?" This innocent query propelled me into a whirlwind of pondering and research.

WE'VE STRUCK GOLD HARRY!

As fate would have it, my eager son, Harry, decided to join the adventure. Together, we embarked on a culinary journey, experimenting, tasting, and refIning. After numerous trials and errors, we struck gold with "Big Red."

This robust, thick, and chunky hot sauce, transported me back to the beaches of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and the memories of the azure ocean waves, endless cervezas, and delectable tacos flooded back. We had recreated a taste of Mexican paradise.

Harry, my biggest critic and supporter, couldn't get enough of Big Red. The rich taste, tantalizing aroma, and gentle heat became a staple for his meals. And we didn't stop at Big Red. Our flavour experiments continued, and we promise, there are more exciting revelations on the horizon.

I have always been on a relentless quest to challenge my palate, seeking out every hot sauce I could find. Given this passion, it almost seemed like a natural progression to transition from a fervent consumer to a devoted creator of hot sauces. The process of crafting a hot sauce is an art form in itself, aiming for the perfect balance of flavour and heat.

I strive for perfection in every batch. It's not just a job or a pastime; it's a calling. It's my life's passion wrapped up in a bottle, and the journey towards excellence continues.
